Giant Thumb is the online home of museums consultant and content producer Dan Porter. Dan helps museums and galleries to communicate and to engage, both externally and internally. As a creator of imaginative, award-winning interpretation media, from eLearning tools to audio guides, he helps cultural organisations attract, include and excite their audiences…and within those organisations, he also facilitates discussion and builds clarity and purpose around new projects and strategies, often by capturing and organising ideas in a highly visual way. In all of his work, Dan aims simply to ‘tell the story,’ to identify narratives and interpret them in ways which are human, thought-provoking and memorable.
